The evening includes live entertainment by Superlark; baseball-themed activities; a chance to win LA Dodgers tickets; new twists on stadium food, such as bacon wrapped hot dogs; and the opportunity to shop for peak of season fruits and vegetables as well as natural goods.

When: Friday, August 14, 2009, 5:00 p m. to 9:00 p.m.

Additional entertainment and activities will take place throughout the weekend. So Fresh Market is open for business every Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Where: Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance, Calif. The market is located between Madrona and Hawthorne adjacent to the northern parking deck of the mall, across from the Torrance Marriott.

Why: The community market provides a place for South Bay locals to come together to shop for peak-of-season fruits and vegetables, local cuisine, and natural foods, as well as enjoy creative meal options and free entertainment with the purpose of giving back to the community.
