So Fresh Market Features “Flashback to the 80’s” on August 21

Who: So Fresh Market, an open-air, community market committed to providing a unique way for local patrons to eat, shop, learn and give back
What: “Flashback Friday Night: I Love the 80’s”
The evening includes free entertainment including 80’s cover hits by Party Jones, trivia contests with prizes, and neon arts and crafts. Patrons also have the opportunity to shop for peak-of-season fruits and vegetables, natural goods, as well as sweet and savory meal and snack options.
When: Friday, August 21, 2009, 5:00 p m. to 9:00 p.m.
Additional entertainment and activities will take place throughout the weekend. So Fresh Market is open for business every Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance, Calif. The market is located on Fashion Way, between Madrona and Hawthorne, adjacent to the northern parking deck of the mall, across from the Torrance Marriott.
Why: The community market provides a place for South Bay locals to come together to shop for peak-of-season fruits and vegetables, local cuisine, and natural foods, as well as enjoy creative meal demonstrations and free entertainment with the purpose of giving back to the community.
